Primary Flight Display (PFD)

One of the main FlightLogic "views" of flight data. The Primary Flight Display (PFD) shows an accurate, three-dimensional representation of the terrain ahead of your aircraft and your aircraft's relationship to that terrain in real-time: forward looking 3D Synthetic Vision.

The Primary Flight Display (PFD) is a dedicated display showing flight information (HUD symbology) overlaid on the 3D Synthetic Vision image. The HUD symbology communicates critical flight data, such as airspeed, groundspeed, altitude, vertical speed, heading and more.

This unified view of your aircraft's situation provides incredibly rich informationƒyet can be comprehended at a glance due to its intuitive visual design. The net result is a cohesive picture of your aircraft's situation and what lies before it…even in darkness or obscuring weather. Admiring pilots have called it "Virtual VFR."

The PFD can be complemented by one or more Multi-Function Displays (MFDs), which are used to show any number of Navigation Displays.
